The James W. Kelley collection of material relating to new town planning in Minnesota is an intentionally assembled collection containing material relating primarily to the Minnesota Experimental City project. The collection is comprised mainly of publications from the Minnesota Experimental City Authority; the University of Minnesota; the State of Minnesota; Battelle Institute, Columbus Laboratories; and the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development. The collection also includes periodicals, reprints, and photocopies, including: Planning, published by the American Society of Planning Officials and HUD challenge, from the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development.
